Spanish Teacher
· Certified teaching position.
· .25+ time (approximately 10 hours per week Monday-Thursdays)
· Minimum 2 years teaching Spanish Language in an elementary or middle school setting
Job Description: Help students communicate and understand the Spanish language. Facilitate practice in listening, speaking, writing and reading Spanish. Techniques such as role-playing, dialogue, language games, songs, literature, cultural experiences and film are encouraged. Must have experience creating engaging lesson plans; planning classroom activities to motivate students; preparing visual aids; grading homework and exams; coaching students individually or as a group; communicating with parents and other teachers about a student’s progress.
Education: A successful candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in education and a teaching license. They must be literate and fluent in Spanish. Applicant must understand developmentally appropriate practices for early grade students as well as middle school level students.
Skills of a Spanish Teacher include but are not limited to: Effective written and verbal communication skills, excellent teaching skills, interpersonal relations skills, time management and organizational skills, administrative skills, problem-solving skills, research skills, and extensive knowledge of various teaching materials. He/she must also be compassionate, patient, observant, detail-oriented, and creative.

Primary Function
The primary function of this position is to support the iSucceed Virtual High School Administration in day-to-day operations. Duties will vary by job assignment, but will include answering phone calls, travel arrangements, and assistance to the registrar with records requests and filing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Maintain postage system and assist with student mailings

Working Conditions
The office manager will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. The office manager will also have to do some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time. The incumbent is located in a busy, open office area. The incumbent is faced with constant interruptions.
Salary
- 8 hours a day; shift 8:00am – 5:00pm with an hour lunch
- $12.00 per hour plus benefits
